A large-scale free health check-up camp was successfully organized by the District Medical and Health Department in collaboration with local private hospitals at the Tanuku Municipal Ground yesterday. Hundreds of residents availed free consultations, blood pressure and diabetes screenings, and basic diagnostic tests. Senior Medical Officer Dr. Srilatha emphasized the importance of regular check-ups for early detection and prevention of diseases. “These camps are vital for reaching underserved populations and promoting a healthier Tanuku,” she stated. Future camps are planned for rural areas surrounding the town.
